27-year-old model Eman Suleman said that she is extremely happy to be nominated for Lux Style Awards and announced not to participate in the event due to the presence of an alleged sexual harasser. She said that she feels no joy in sharing the event with Ali Zafar.

Reacting to the celebs’ response, the organisers issued a statement and said, “The decisions of film jury were based on an assessment of the merits of the cinematic work. We do not consider any other extraneous issues related to the personal characters or actions of people associated with that work. “
The jury appreciates the sensitivity of the subject and recognizes the intensity of public sentiments. Nevertheless, it is also important to respect that the case is being decided by Pakistan’s judicial system, it further stated.
