Mehwish Hayat to be awarded Tamgha-i-Imtiaz on Pakistan Day
A total of 127 civil awards will be presented
(Web Desk) – Pakistan Day is all about celebrating the resolute Pakistani’s who make continuous efforts to achieve phenomenal success and make the nation proud of their endeavors.
This March, Pakistan will be celebrating its 79th Pakistan Day and the government has decided to award a total of 127 civil awards to be presented by the President Dr. Arif Alvi on the 23rd of March.
According to local media reports, Mehwish Hayat will be given the prestigious Tamgha-i-Imtiaz for her artistic endeavors.
Among the other celebrities whom the spot light will be on the Day are the legendary fast pacers Wasim Akram, and Waqar Younis who will receive Hilal-i-Imtiaz.
Sitara-i-Imtiaz will be given to Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi, Sajjad Ali and Babra Sharif.
Reema Khan, Shabbir Jan and comedian Iftikhar Thakur will be presented with the Pride of Performance award.
