Before the 11th season finally kicks off this weekend, people are already predicting who will get to sing what song and which legend will the producers pay tribute to this time around.
Coke Studio is not only known for coming up with great renditions of iconic songs but also promotes new and talented singers and musicians through their vastly famous platform. Traditionally Coke Studio has always come up with a Pre-season song as a trailer to what the fans can expect from upcoming episodes.

Soni Dharti, Season 8 (Aug 4, 2015)
Coke Studio kicked off this unique tradition by re-introducing ‘Soni Dharti Allah Rakhe’ with a very raw, new and refreshing sound. Not only was this the first time that a trailer of sorts was launched by Coke Studio, but also the lineup was introduced to the world for the first time, in a very unique manner, as well.
The song was specifically chosen to celebrate the spirit of independence with Pakistanis all over the world.
Coke Studio introduced the likes of Ali Sethi, Asim Azhar, Sara Haider, Gul Panrah and Nabeel Shaukat Ali amongst other prominent names.
Aye Rah-e-Haq Ke Shaheedo, Season 9 (Aug 5, 2016)
The second promo song released by Coke Studio came a year later when fans all over the world braced themselves for season 9. The rendition of the song that featured the martyred musician Amjad Sabri gave everyone goosebumps and had everyone chirping in anticipation for days.
Coke Studio chose this song to pay tribute to all the national heroes who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Pakistan.
This time names like Zeb Bangash, Mehwish Hayat, Sanam Marvi, Nimral Roy, Rachel Viccaji, Mohsin Abbas and Momina Mustehsan came into the limelight for the first time
The National Anthem, Season 10 (Aug 4, 2017)
The National Anthem of Pakistan was chosen to mark the completion of 10 entire seasons of Coke Studio. This was the show’s third promo song and one that gained lots of praise from fans all over the world.

Hum Dekhain Gay, Season 11 (July 22, 2018)
Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s ‘Hum Dekhain Gay’ was chosen as the promo song for season 11 as Coke Studio looks to promote culture diversity through music. In the music video, not only are bands and artists from various backgrounds included but for the first time ever, an internationally recognized music platform introduced two transgender artists to the world.
The new faces that will feature this season include Ariana, Amrina, Shamu Bai, Ahad Raza Mir, Sounds of Kolachi, Khumariyaan, Young Desi, Lyari Underground, The Sketches, Elizabeth Rai, Mishal Khawaja, Mughal-e-Funk, Vishnu, Naghma and Lucky.
