Smoking not gender but health issue, Hamza on Mahira video
I fail to understand why its a matter of character rather than health: Hamza Ali Abbasi
(Web Desk) – Television and film actor Hamza Ali Abbasi rhetorically asked on Saturday in a social media post while reacting to Mahira Khan’s smoking video that why there is no fuss made when male actors smoke.
The star actor wrote: “I fail to understand why its a matter of character rather than health”.
Smoking is bad for the health of both men and women. I fail to understand why its a matter of character rather than health when a woman smokes! No one makes a big deal when humayun, me or a man is caught smoking.

Hamza’s reaction came days after another video of Pakistan’s crossover talent Mahira Khan surfaced showing her smoking presumably before she attended to a professional commitment.
Mahira was earlier targeted by a conservative section of social media users and the society when her pictures with Ranbir Kapoor, smoking in New York City street went viral.
Hamza Ali Abbasi further stated today: “No one makes a big deal when humayun, me or a man is caught smoking.”
