(Dunya News) – In a bid to encourage aspiring singers, I Am Karachi offered its platform for upcoming stars to showcase their talent in the coastal city.
But that was not all. The platform also aimed to encourage young talented artists to take up music as a career.
The young artists also did not let go off the opportunity as they participated in the competition making it a success.
Judges present at the event said that gone were the days when a career in music and singing was looked down upon. Now, they said, people have begun appreciating the art of music, something owing to which several platforms were now offering young artists the opportunity to showcase their talents.
“Opportunities are greater now and music offers a viable profession as well,” said one of the judges. “Those who have the potential should take it up as a career,” he added. Another judge asked young musicians to learn to appreciate their talents if they want to make a career in music.
Professional musicians and singers also performed towards the end of the event.
