MUMBAI (Daily Dunya) - Bollywood diva Kajol will appear in the role of a single mother in her next film which is the screen adaptation of Director Anand Gandhi’s Gujarati play, ‘Beta Kaagdo’.
“He (Anand Gandhi) will not be directing the film, he has written it (story). We are still in the scripting stage, final scripting is going on. I am playing a single mother in this film. It’s a nice story and I am excited about this role,” Kajol told PTI.
Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, the story of the film revolves around a mother-son relationship. The shooting will begin next year.
Kajol’s husband and actor, Ajay Devgn will be co-producing the film with Abhinav Shukla. The actress was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
