Summary Shoaib Mansoor’s movie ‘Verna’ is set to hit international screens today.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Shoaib Mansoor’s ‘Verna’ staring Mahira Khan and Haroon Shahid is set to hit international screens today (Friday). However, the movie will not be released in Punjab today due to non-issuance of the censor board certificate.
The film is focused on the topic of rape and its launch event to be held in Lahore was cancelled at the last minute as the censor board said it had problems with some scenes.
On the other hand, the Sindh Censor Board has granted ‘A’ certificate to the film and it will be released in the province as per schedule today.
