(Web Desk) – April 22, 2017 marks the sixth death anniversary of legendary humorist and actor and Pakistan’s artistic treasure, Moin Akhtar.
Late Akhtar stepped in show biz in the 60s and ruled many fields of performing arts with his spontaneity and wit.
He was born in Karachi and his mother tongue was Urdu but he commanded many other languages including Bengali, Sindhi, Memoni, and Gujrati besides English.
He was awarded with Pride of Performance and Sitara-e-Imtiaz by the government of Pakistan.
Legendary Akhtar excelled in different performing arts. He breathed his last on April 22, 2011 in Karachi owing to cardiac arrest.
