LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime suspect in theatre actress Qismat Baig’s murder case was sent on 14-day judicial remand on Tuesday.
Rana Muzammil was presented before a court in cantonment area by Harbanspura Police where investigation officer told the judge that the actress was murdered for personal gains and prime suspect’s accomplices were involved in the attack.
The court was told that the criminal had confessed to the crime and thus no further interrogation was needed.
After hearing out the investigation officer, the suspect was sent on 14-day judicial remand.
Qismat Baig was murdered last month as she traveled to her residence along with her manager and driver. Motorcyclists opened fire and fatally targeted the woman with at least 12 bullets.
