KARACHI (Dunya News) – Bollywood film director and producer Mahesh Bhatt on Tuesday said that it is such a sad situation that Indian filmmakers are not able to film in Pakistan over security situation. He said filming in Pakistan would have helped both Pakistan and India’s economies.

Talking to media at National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) Karachi along with daughter Pooja Bhatt, he said Pakistani movies Bol, Khuda Kay Liye and Waar really impressed him.

He said both countries need one step forward to eliminate distances.

Pooja Bhatt said that Aalia is a good and talented actress and that people will be able to see her on big screen again very soon.

Mahesh Bhatt said Pakistani artists Fawad Khan and Atif Aslam are really liked in India. He said he is ashamed whenever films on anti-Pakistan subject are made in India.

Bollywood film tycoon said that the wall of hatred between both countries erected for a long time has to be demolished.
