KARACHI (Dunya News) – Filmstar Meera on Friday said that Pakistan’s defeat in cricket match against India has broken several hearts, adding that she hopes that the team will improve in coming matches, Dunya News reported.
Meera was nervous upon arriving at Karachi Chamber of Commerce for fundraising for her hospital project. She came clean to the chamber saying she doesn’t know much about business and yet wants to be a member of the chamber.
She appealed the members to donate for her planned trust hospital. Meera said Pakistan cricket team did not play well in its match against India, adding that several hearts were broken because of it.
Actress further said she is going to India to work on new projects. She said she has also started scriptwriting for TV dramas after writing poetry.
However, she refused when she was asked to read some of her poetry. Meera even ignored the question asked about her marriage.
