LAHORE (Dunya News) – Film star Meera on Saturday said she has already offered Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan to marry her and that she now awaits Khan’s response, Dunya News reported.
Addressing the media at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Meera said that she will participate as a player in the friendly match between film industry and the national cricket team being played for the hospital in her mother’s name, adding that she will make the umpire raise his finger through bowling.
Meera also lashed out at deterioration of the Pakistani film industry. She said if Pakistani actresses work in Indian film industry then it is termed as a reason of Pakistan’s defamation but people here love to watch Indian films.
Pakistani actress said that she met the governor Punjab for the hospital and that the government did not provide her the land despite repeated contacts.
Meera said she will build three hospitals instead of one now, adding that the first hospital will be built in Sialkot whose foundation stone will be laid on November 25.
Reportedly, Meera has successfully raised Rs 80 lakh so far.
