Web Desk - Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was reportedly injured during the shooting of a song from his upcoming film ‘Happy New Year’. The veteran actor was immediately rushed to the Nanavati hospital.
According to details, Khan was injured during a mishap on the sets of Farah Khan’s Happy New Year. The incident took place on Thursday afternoon when the actor was shooting for a song at a Mumbai five-star hotel. SRK sustained injuries on his hand and face.
"Shah Rukh Khan had a minor accident on the sets while shooting. He has a minor injury and has got the necessary medical aid. He is absolutely fine now. Thank you for all your wishes!" an official statement from Shah Rukh Khan's office said.
Happy New Year is an upcoming 2014 Bollywood action comedy –drama film directed by Farah Khan and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The film has an ensemble cast which includes Deepika Padukone and Shahrukh Khan in the leads with supporting roles by Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood andVivaan Shah.
This will be the third collaboration of Khan with the director; they previously worked on the blockbusters Main Hoon Na (2004) and Om Shanti Om (2007). The tagline of the film indicates that it is a musical heist.
