Usher's ex-wife asks for emergency custody hearing
One of the couple's sons nearly drowned in a pool at the singer's Atlanta home.
ATLANTA (AP) - Usher s ex-wife has asked for an emergency custody hearing after one of the couple s sons nearly drowned in a pool at the singer s Atlanta home.
A lawyer for Tameka Foster Raymond filed the request in court Tuesday. It says the boy "suffered a near-death accident" while left unsupervised. A judge has set a hearing for Friday.
Atlanta police have said 5-year-old Usher Raymond V on Monday fell to the bottom of pool and became stuck in the drain.
Police say he was alert and conscious when he was pulled out and taken to a hospital.
The singer was awarded primary physical custody of his two sons last year.
