Oscar-winning director James Cameron has received the 2,396th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 55-year-old star was awarded his special star yesterday, which coincided with the release of his highly acclaimed new movie Avatar.The sci-fi flick, which stars Sigourney Weaver and Sam Worthington, is Camerons first feature film since his hit film, Titanic.Weaver, 60, who played the lead role in Camerons 1986 movie Aliens, joined the director at the ceremony in front of the world-famous Egyptian Theatre.Special guest and California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who appeared in all three of Cameron's Terminator movies, also attended the ceremony and hailed him as one of the greatest directors of all time.
