Taare Zameen Par' Bollywood star Aamir Khan's award winning directorial debut, is being released in the US next month by the Walt Disney Studio as 'Like Stars on Earth'. Releasing on January 12, 2010, 'Like Stars on Earth' produced, directed and starring Aamir Khan, features young newcomer Darsheel Safary in a performance that earned him a 2007 Filmfare nomination for Best Actor. 'Taare Zameen Par' was one of India's top grossing theatrical films of 2007. The film revolves around eight-year-old Ishaan Awasthi (Darsheel Safary), a dyslexic child, struggling to read and write and unable to deliver the good grades and disciplined behavior expected by his parents and teachers.
