Summary

Famed Bollywood actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan, now roaming around incognito while promoting his upcoming movie '3 Idiots', reached a small-school in a small hamlet in India's western Gujarat state, in his normal self. After northern Varanasi, eastern Kolkata and Chanderi district in India's central Madhya Pradesh, Khan reached a small school run on principles of country's iconic freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi, in a village near Palanpur town of Gujarat state.Unlike his previous disguised look, Khan was in normal self, wearing black T-shirt and interacted and played cricket with students of 'Lok Niketan'. 'Lok Niketan' is a school known for teaching its students self-reliance and students usually wear khadi, hand-spun cloth, as their uniform. Khan spent about three hours interacting with school children in Dangiya Madana village, about 15 kilometres from Palanpur city.Khan met all the teachers of the school and also sang and danced along with them. He also met one of his fans who always carries his photograph. He later also ate food given to him by a girl student in the school. Khan met children of all grades and also gave gold ring to two of the school officials. He was felicitated by school with a Khadi (Indian traditional hand spun cloth) garland. Khan, 44, has adopted this unique marketing strategy wherein he is touring across India and challenging his fans to identify him. He went in disguise in Varanasi and Kolkata cities and was surprisingly left unidentified. He along with actress Kareena Kapoor also went to Chanderi district in central Madhya Pradesh state and highlighted the dying art of handloom textile weaving - the ancient craft. The star cast of the film during a media conference held in India's entertainment capital Mumbai on Friday, December 11 disclosed that Khan would be on an adventure trip throughout the country for two weeks.Khan has promised his fans a new look in every city and town that he visits during the fortnight and the challenge for his fans would be to spot him.His close friends will constantly keep giving clues about his whereabouts to the fans. Khan has described this as an 'Alternative Reality Game' (ARG) of Three Idiots, wherein fans would be able to locate and find him through a series of subtle clues about the city or town he is in and the getup he would be in - without out rightly giving away his whereabouts. An announcement was made on television that whosoever would identify and find Khan in his disguise will be given free tickets for the movie and as a bonus Khan would spend New Year's night with the lucky winner and his family.
