Pop star Shakira has succeeded in gaining support from Latin American head of states to provide health facilities to the kids. In a conference of Latin Americas heads of states, Shakira participated as representative of Alas Foundation. The foundation works to provide health facilities to infants. Addressing a press conference with presidents of Chili, Argentine, Columbia and Mexico she said that the subject on New Years conference would be upbringing of infants. If this goal is achieved, we will be able to change the destiny of tens of millions of kids, she maintained. Argentines president Christina Fernandez on this occasion maintained that lack of health facilities for infants was due to poverty and inequity in the region.
