Summary The Carnival of Venice 2013 opens in the legendary Italian city on water. It will last for 17 days.
For this time the city will turn into a unique venue where dozens of costumed performances, music concerts and exhibitions will be held.
This year the Carnival will be dedicated to the colors because each color communicates and evokes emotion, there is no city in the world where the color intensity is reflected on the water of the lagoon.
On the final day of the carnival festivities the Silence water parade will take place with boats and gondolas parading the Grand Canal lit by candles.
