Summary Rumours are that Kangna has been signed on to play a crime sleuth in Nikita Pai.
MUMBAI: The film which is being produced by Viki Rajani will be directed by Pawan Kriplani of Ragini MMS fame.
The film Nikita Pai will see Kangna playing a science teacher who also moonlights as an amateur detective exposing supernatural crimes.
Inspirited by the crime novels Sherlock Holmes and Nancy Drew, the film will have Ranaut yet again playing a strong female centric lead.
Nikita Pai is set to go on the floors next year in May, with almost ninety per cent of the film being shot in Kerala.
The film is written by Rahul and Vivek Kumar.
