I am not after any record: Salman Khan

Summary Superstar Salman Khan says there is real hard work behind every film that he does.

I am not setting any record. I work on something and give my best. Now that the shooting of Ek Tha Tiger is over I am concentrating on every shot of Dabangg 2. I do not think about the result, Salman said in an interview. All I try to do is give my best to every shot that I do. Basically, it is all about doing and enjoying your work to the best of your capability. If it is working today then good, but it may not work tomorrow, he said.Salmans last few films have made it to the exclusive 100 crore club that is the new benchmark for success in Bollywood now. Post Dabangg ( Rs 215 crore), Ready (Rs 180 crore) and Bodyguard (Rs 230 crore), Ek Tha Tiger (Rs 198 crore) - not only the audience but even producers are pining their hopes on doing a film with Salman.Salman, who is returning to the small screen with the sixth season of Bigg Boss, says unlike previous seasons where contestants were seen fighting and hurling abuses, this years show will be a family one.I get to watch all the episodes including those things that we cant air on TV as it is completely messed up. We can show only certain things. So I know who is behaving in what way. Minor fights are okay but when it goes overboard its irritating, the actor said.People want to watch some nice things. And this time it will be a family show for the fact that we shifted it from 11 PM to 9 PM slot, he added. It is for the third time that Salman will be hosting the show, which had been earlier hosted by celebrities like Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan.I like (on the show) that eventually the original personality of a contestant comes out and what I dont like is when people play games. Lot of people think if they yell, fight and play games, they might reach the top or become the winner, Salman said. But they have not realised the fact that whoever has won the game has played it decently, be it Juhi Parmar, Shweta Tiwari, Vindhu Dara Singh and Rahul Roy (winners of Bigg Boss), he added. The controversial people who have been associated with the show primarily take it up to clear their image, he said.Like in case of contestant Rahul Bhatt, son of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, whose name had cropped up in David Headly case. But when Rahul entered the house (in earlier season), he cleared things, he said.If the success of films are measured by box office collection, it is all about TRPs on television and Salman does believe in it.Of course the TRPs matter to me and that is why the show is going on. I dont understand how TRP rating is decided.Till the time it is doing fine, its ok. If the ratings are not good then in that case you work hard. Right now everything is good, so it doesnt matter. It should matter when TRP ratings or box office collections are not there, he quipped.
