Indian actor, director and producer Manoj Kumar has decided to cast Amir Khan in a film based on the life of former Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri (Late). According to an Indian TV channel, the script of the film has been finalized. Manoj is expected to formally offer Amir Khan this role soon. Shastri became Indian prime minister in 1964 and died on the very next day of signing Tashkent Agreement between India and Pakistan in 1966.
