Peace Drama Festival of Ajoka Theater has kicked off in Lahore and two plays were staged on the opening day of the festival. Toba Tek Singh, a play based on the subject of partition and Dekh Tamasha Chalt Bun (See circus and move on) amused the audiences. The second play criticized the religious prejudice and those who create anarchy in the society. Audiences cheered the plays based on important social issues. They said that such dramas helped promoting passion of patriotism and elimination social evils.
