Summary Naughty-but-nice musical Matilda is front-runner for British theater's Olivier Awards.
With 10 nominations, including a joint best actress nod for the four children who share the title role.Based on Roald Dahls tale of an extraordinary little girl from an ordinary family, Matilda is nominated in every possible category, from set and lighting design to best new musical.The show is due to open on Broadway next year.Comedies The Ladykillers and One Man, Two Guvnors lead the non-musical categories with five nominations apiece.Jude Law, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jonny Lee Miller and Kristin Scott Thomas are among acting contenders at Britains equivalent of Broadways Tonys.The trophies will be handed out Sunday at Londons Royal Opera House.--AP
