Summary Newborn baby capybaras and artistic elephants paint a colourful Spring at this Japanese zoo.

Spring has arrived at this zoo on the outskirts of Tokyo. Bringing with it -- cuddly newborn capybaras and elephants painting cherry blossoms. These little capybaras were born just days ago, but they are already busy following their mother around and snacking on their favourite bamboo leaves.Zookeeper Ruka Kunitachi says the newborns have attracted more visitors than usual. Its a blessing for them to be born in this season of cherry blossoms because there will be a lot of tasty leaves and sprouts to feed themselves, so they will grow up soon.Competing for attention in another corner of the zoo are these gentle giants.Yumeka, a 4-year-old Asian elephant is showing off her artistic skills.Yumeka produces two masterpieces each day and will be painting cherry blossoms through the end of April, before moving on to daffodils for the summer.
