Emran Hashmi complains for being discriminated

Bollywood film star Emran Hashmi says that he is barred from buying a house in Mumbai for being a Muslim. He said that he was being discriminated on religious basis. Talking to media in Mumbai he said that he paid advance Rs 100,000 to buy house but Maharashtra Building Society had refused to issue him the NOC. Hashmis uncle Mahesh Bhatt said that this was not the first incident of this kind. Earlier, Saif Ali Khan and Shubana Azmi have also been declined buying of a house in the posh area of Mumbai. Mahesh has appealed to the Congress Government to take necessary measures in this regard.
