Summary A number of Pakistani students took part in the 2nd International Cultural Festival in Beijing.
The festival held at the University of International Business and Economics on Thursday.The inaugural ceremony of the festival, took place under the theme “The world around us” was participated by more than 60 countries in this one-day event.The university has more than 10,000 students and nearly 3000 foreign students from over 129 countries. Students had set up stalls to exhibit their national culture and cuisine.Pakistani students studying in this prestigious university in collaboration with the Cultural Section of the Embassy of Pakistan set up the stall which attracted a huge number of visitors due to henna tattoos, glass bangles and delicious food.Students, both Chinese and foreigners, presented several cultural and musical performances at the opening ceremony and got cheers from the visitors.The Cultural Attache of the Embassy of Pakistan Danyal Gilani represented the Embassy at the inauguration ceremony.
