Summary ANF recovers 141kg drugs in nine operations across multiple cities, arresting 13 suspects. One accused confesses to supplying drugs to students; cases registered under Anti-Narcotics Act.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Anti-Narcotics Force conducted nine operations in different areas, recovering 141.32 kilograms of drugs and arresting 13 suspects.
According to the ANF spokesperson, the operations were carried out in Hyderabad, Islamabad, Sangjani, Ghazi Ghat, Peshawar, and Quetta.
During the crackdown, 83.6 kilograms of opium and 49 kilograms of hashish were recovered.
Additionally, the operations led to the seizure of 8 kilograms of ice, 30 grams of heroin, and 4,750 Xanax tablets weighing 692 grams.
The spokesperson further stated that one of the arrested suspects confessed to selling drugs to students in educational institutions, while cases have been registered against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act 1997.
