Robbers kill fruit trader during robbery in Bahawalnagar

BAHAWALNAGAR (Dunya News) - A man lost his life to robbers during robbery on Multan Road Bypass, Dunya News reported.

The victim identified as Iqbal of Lodhran was heading to Lahore from Sindh on a truck laden with bananas when he had a flat tyre during the journey.

He was changing the tyre roadside along with his two sons when two bandits on a bike attempted to rob him of cash and valuables, which led to a scuffle. During this physical altercation, robbers opened fire, killing him on the spot.

On information, police reached the crime scene and started investigation after shifting the dead to hospital. City Police have registered a case.

WOMAN MURDERED

In Okara, a woman was murdered by her brother-in-law over a domestic issue. On information, police rushed to the crime and arrested the accused. According to DPO Rashid, police took timely action to arrest the killer. He said the accused will be brought to justice.
