Four more arrested in Karachi double murder case

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police have arrested four more suspects in connection with the murder of a man and a woman in China Port, Dunya News reported here on Tuesday.
Two days ago, the woman identified as Sana and man as Sajid were found murdered in their house. They belonged to Gujranwala, and in the city a case was registered against Sajid for abducting the woman.
On Tuesday, a team of police reached Gujranwala and met the father of Sajid, and detained four suspects in the double murder case.
According to DIG South Assad Raza, more arrests are expected and some of them would be nominated in the case. Police recorded statement of Sajid’s father Arif, and would investigate in the light of his statement. The woman’s brother was already in Gujranwala’s police custody. Police have suspected that close relatives of the couple were complicit in their murder.
