KHUZDAR (Wed Desk) - Four terrorists of banned Tehreek–e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in an encounter with Counter Terrorism Department police in Sasowal area of Khuzdar.

On a tip-off, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) set up barricades on a road in Sasowal to arrest the outlaws.

On seeing police on security blockades, the perpetrators riding two motorcycles opened fire, which was returned by law enforcers in a befitting manner.

As a result of an exchange of fire, four TTP militants were taken out. The terrorists infiltrated into Pakistan from Afghanistan.

CTD seized two motorcycles, explosives and arms from the militants. Further investigation was underway.

TWO ROBBERS ARRESTED IN KARACHI

Police claimed to have arrested two suspected robbers after ‘encounter’. They were identified as Sohail and Abdullah. One of the outlaws was injured in the shootout, who was shifted to hospital.

Two pistols, a motorcycle, bullets and stolen valuables were recovered from them. Further investigation was underway.
