Two suspected drug peddlers killed, cop injured in 'encounter'

GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Two alleged drug peddlers were killed and a constable and a passerby were injured in an encounter with law enforcers and outlaws in Kamoke.
Police were raiding a hideout of the suspected drug traffickers when they encountered the outlaws, who opened indiscriminate firing at the police party.
Law enforcers retaliated to their firing. As a result of this shootout, two outlaws were killed whereas a constable and an onlooker sustained injuries.
They were shifted to hospital. Police claimed the outlaws had become a sign of terror in the vicinity. A manhunt was launched for the arrest of the fleeing perpetrators.
MAN, WIFE SHOT DEAD IN MULTAN
In Multan, a couple was shot dead at Kacheri Chowk. They were identified as Imran and Amina. The motive behind the double murder could not be ascertained.
Police were investigating after shifting the dead bodies to hospital.
ROBBER KILLED IN KARACHI ‘ENCOUNTER’
In Karachi, an alleged robber was killed and his accomplice injured in an ‘encounter’ with police. Police were tipped off about the presence of robbers in Khokarapar. When police reached there to arrest them, they opened fire on them.
Police retaliated to their firing, killing a robber and injuring his accomplice.
SIX UNDERAGE BOYS RESCUED
Police claimed to have rescued six underage boys used as ‘sex workers’ from an inn near Data Darbar, Lahore.
The minor boys were allegedly used as sex workers. According to SP City Division, Data Darbar police SHO in a raid rescued them from a hotel and arrested a suspect indentified as Abid Mahmood, who gave them drugs, used them as sex workers, and made their obscene videos. Further investigation was underway.
