KARACHI (Dunya News) – In a recent incident of street crime, unidentified robbers shot and killed a man for resisting in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi, police officials said on Sunday.
The victim, identified as 27-year-old Itiqa, was a chemical engineer by profession and a student of MBA.
Police officials said that the incident occurred on Saturday evening when Itiqa was returning home after purchasing confectionary items from a bakery in the area.
They stated that the robbers fired a bullet, striking Itiqa near the right shoulder and exiting from the left side.
After leaving him in a pool of blood, the robbers fled with the victim’s mobile phone, cash and motorcycle.
A murder case has been filed against the unidentified robbers by Ibad, the victim’s elder brother.
