Police say they were murdered over enmity
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Two brothers were gunned down and as many injured when six assailants ridding on three bikes targeted their car on a road near Guru Mandir, Dunya News reported here on Thursday.
Talking to the media, Jamshaid Town SP said the double murder was the outcome of old enmity and added five brothers were going to a court by a car when they were attacked.
The deceased were identified as Wajid Aurangzeb and Shan Aurangzeb.
Their two injured brothers were admitted to hospital in a critical condition whereas their fifth brother escaped unhurt.
A contingent of police scrambled to the crime scene and started investigation after shifting the dead bodies to hospital.
A video showing six persons targeting a car has gone viral. According to police, 17 shells have been found at the crime scene.
Police have launched a manhunt for the arrest of the killers with help of CCTV footage in which assailants could be indentified easily.
