Police claim the suspects were involved in many heinous crimes
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police on Thursday claimed that two suspected robbers were killed in the firing of their own accomplices when a police van carrying them came under fire in Manawan, Dunya News reported.
The suspects were identified as Sadique and Muhammad Azam. Their bodies were shifted to hospital for postmortem.
According to police, the suspects were involved in many heinous crimes and wanted in many cases of murder, robbery and kidnap for ransom.
Police claimed that the robbers were being taken to an area for the arrest of their accomplices and recovery of looted valuables when their accomplices in order to get them freed opened fire on police van.
As a result, the under custody suspects were killed. The attackers escaped after the incident.
