KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police Friday claimed to have nabbed two suspects of Lyari gang involved in murders and abduction for ransom, Dunya News reported.
Police got information that two robbers of Lyari gang were present in Jamshaid Town and planning to plunder valuables from people of the area.
Police rushed to the area to apprehend the outlaws. On seeing the police approaching them, the suspects opened fire on them. Police also resorted to firing and arrested them.
A motorcycle, a pistol, and other looted valuables were recovered from the outlaws.
According to police, the arrested gangsters were involved in many cases of robbery, abduction for ransom and murder.
Police were collecting evidence to reach out to their accomplices who were hiding in different areas of the city.
