Two robbers injured, held after 'encounters' in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police have arrested two alleged robbers after encounters with them in two areas of the city, Dunya News reported.
In Landhi area near Daud Chorangi, police encountered two robbers when they were plundering valuables from people.
In the encounter, a robber was injured and arrested whereas his aide fled under the cover of darkness.
Police sent the injured robber to hospital and started investigation.
In Clifton Jinnah Colony, an encounter between police and two robbers took place in which a robber was injured and arrested.
His accomplice escaped. Police started investigation after shifting the injured to hospital.
Police said the arrested robbers in the two incidents were history-sheeters and wanted in many heinous crimes.
Police seized stolen valuables and arms from the robbers.
