Four suspects managed to escape
LAHORE : (Dunya News) – An alleged dacoit was killed and his four accomplices escaped during an encounter with the CIA police in Batapur area here on Monday night.
The police were informed that some dacoits were hiding in Batapur area and planning to loot the citizens.
A police team raided the hideout of the outlaws, who opened fire on the police.
The law-enforcers retaliated in an effective manner and killed a suspected dacoit, who was later identified as Umair, whereas his four accomplices managed to escape.
During the preliminary investigation, the police come to know that accused Umair was a history-sheeter and involved in 35 cases of heinous.
Further investigation is under way.
