KARACHI (Dunya News) - A medical store owner was killed and his two sons suffered injuries after unidentified assailants opened fire in Layari's Bahar Colony on Monday, police said.
Police suspected a targeted attack as the suspects didn't take away any valuables. The suspects fled on foot after the incident.
Noor Muhammad, the father of five was pronounced dead at the crime scene, while his sons 10-year-old Shahzad and 11-year-old Ismail were admitted to a hospital.
Mir Waiz, the victim's cousin, told the police that Noor's wife was in Quetta to attend a marriage ceremony and that the victim had no enmity with anyone.
Police have launched probe into the incident.
