Gang war commander was involved in demanding extortion money from builders
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Karachi police have arrested most-wanted gangster in Kalakot area of Lyari during an encounter.
According to reports, there was an exchange of fire between police and criminals during the encounter. Police arrested the wanted commander of Jhaingu group of notorious Lyari gang war who got injured during the operation.
Police said illegal weapons had also been recovered from gangster Farhan alias Khalifa.
The accused had demanded extortion money from the builders soon after his release from jail just recently.
