ANF arrests six drug peddlers in latest raids

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) claims to have arrested six suspects accsued of drug trafficking during raids carried out in Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Karachi, Peshawar, Jiwani and Khyber.
According to a ANF spokesperson, 140 ecstasy tablets, 14.4kg opium, 17.4kg hashish and 4.7kg weed were recovered from the culprits. Moreover, 4.3kg methamphetamine (ice) and three hashish-filled capsules were also recovered from the peddlers.
The spokesperson added that cases had been registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
