CTD Punjab launches search operations, detains eight suspects
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab claims to have arrested eight suspected people during combing operations in various parts of the province.
According to a spokesperson, CTD teams launched 32 combing and search operations and interrogated 1,540 people, undertook biometric verification of 354 citizens and took eight suspects into custody.
The suspects, who were arrested in Sheikhupura and Umarkot, were booked in three cases. The spokesman said the CTD was making all-out efforts to make Punjab safe. He further said the department would leave no stone unturned to take the anti-state elements to task.
