In-law threw acid on victim who is in hospital, police starts investigation
MIAN CHANNU (Dunya News) - An incident of alleged acid attack took place in Pul Gharat area under Talamba police station limits of Mian Channu, where in-laws allegedly threw acid on the daughter-in-law over a domestic dispute.
The relatives have alleged that the mother-in-law and sister-in-law allegedly threw acid on Salma Bibi, while according to Mian Chunnu police, the victim has been shifted to THQ Hospital.
According to the hospital administration, 50 percent of the body of the woman was burnt due to the alleged acid attack, the condition of the victim is serious.
Police say they are investigating the incident, whether acid was used or hot water is too early to say anything.
Police said that the accused will be arrested soon and the facts will be revealed after medical report and investigation.
