CJ SHC takes notice of flood-affectee girl's alleged gang rape

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Chief Justice Sindh High Court (CJ SHC) on Wednesday took notice of the alleged gang rape of a flood-affectee girl in the provincial capital.

According to the Registrar SHC, the Chief Justice took notice of the incident on the news published in newspapers. Chief Justice Ahmed Ali M. Shaikh summoned DIG South on October 27 at 1 pm in his personal capacity.

CJ SHC also ordered SSP Investigation South One to appear in person along with the report related to the investigation of the incident.

It should be noted that earlier, an incident of gang rape of a flood-victim girl in Clifton area of Karachi was reported, on which the police took action and arrested two suspects. The vehicle used in the incident was also recovered.
