Noor Mukadam Case: Accused Zahir Jaffer's lawyer completes interrogation of investigating officer

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The interrogation of the investigating officer by the main accused Zahir Jaffar’s lawyer in Noor Mukadam murder case was completed on Monday.

Noor Mukadam murder case was heard by Additional Sessions Judge Atta Rabbani. The main accused Zahir Jaffar was sitting in the court room with his head bowed to one side in a state of drowsiness.

Zahir Jaffar’s legal adviser Sikandar Zulqarnain Saleem interrogated the investigating officer Abdul Sattar. The investigating officer Abdul Sattar said the court that he arrived at the scene with Sikandar Hayat and friend Muhammad ASI.

He added that the plaintiff Shaukat Mukadam was present at the scene along with his relatives before our arrival. The investigating officer said that the body was sent from the F7 house to the morgue on July 20. The time of death was written on the death certificate as July 21 at 12:10 pm.

He further said that the first remand of Zahir Jaffar was taken on July 21, without mentioning anything recovered. The DVR did not undergo a programmatic test to confirm the presence of the slain Noor.

At the time of arrest, the main accused Zahir Jaffar s paint was not stained with blood. Jaffar s fingerprints did not appear on the knife. The statements from neighbors and front guards were not taken. Camera recording around the house were not taken.

Meanwhile, the court adjourned the case till Wednesday.
