Mandi Usmanwala – (ONLINE): Relatives of 14-year-old Muhammad Sharjeel, who was allegedly tortured to death by religious cleric, protested against the non-receipt of Sharjeel’s medical report and non-cooperation of the police by closing Depalpur Road for traffic In Nadi Usmanwala.
According to details, Sharjeel had gone to the Madrasa for religious studies. His parents claimed that he was tortured by cleric Muhammad Waqas for not memorizing his lecture.
Now the management of the district hospital was not handing medical report of the victim over to his parents.
Upon this, natives of Sharjeel’s area closed the Depalpur road for traffic and demonstrated protest. Later, they eliminated their protest on the assurance of authorities.
