ASI gunned down in Karachi
Police has collected evidence and recorded statements of eyewitnesses.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - A police officer deputed in Manghopir Investigation branch was shot dead in Orangi Town area of the port city.
According to details, the unidentified assailants opened fire at Sub-Inspector Akram Khan at a hotel and fled the scene.
The victim was having dinner when some armed gunmen opened fire at him and the person who was sitting with the police officer. ASI Akram Khan was shifted to nearest hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
Police has collected evidence including shells of 9mm bullets and recorded statements of eyewitnesses. Further investigations were underway.
