Two alleged murderers held in Mardan

Police arrested Dalawar Shah and Akbar Shah and recovered weapon from their possession.

MARDAN  (Online) - Mardan police has arrested two alleged murderers, a police statement said.

The nabbed suspects were allegedly involved in notorious criminal activities, including murder of a former station house officer (SHO).
According to details, on September 16, 2016, the police arrested some proclaimed offenders, identified as Akbar Shah, Shah Khalid, Dalawar Shah and Nasir, resident of Palai. They were wanted to police in a murder case and a police party led by late Fazl-e-Malak SHO Kharki police station conducted a search operation to arrest them.

During that time, the criminals allegedly opened fired on the police party.

As a result, SHO Fazal-e-Malak died on the spot while constable Fayaz Khan got injured while PO Shah Khaild also died and Nasir was arrested while Akbar Shah and Dalawar Shah escaped from the crime spot.

Now, the police in a successful operation arrested Dalawar Shah and Akbar Shah and recovered weapon from their possession.
