Burglars loot Rs 2 million in cash from six shops in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The burglars on Sunday, fled with Rs 2 million in cash after looting five shops and a warehouse in Karachi Sadar’s medicine market.
Upon reaching the market on Monday, the shopkeepers came to know about the incident, and informed Rasala police about the robbery.
Police said that they are investigating the incident. It is possible that an Afghan group was involved in the burglary, said police.
On the other hand, taking advantage of the darkness in FB Area Block 20, near Samanabad Police Station Ancholi Karachi, two accused on a motorcycle snatched mobile phones from the boys standing in the street on gunpoint and fled.
The citizens have reported the incident to the concerned police.
