Man arrested for harassing, blackmailing woman in Karachi
Suspect was arrested by FIA cyber crime on the complaint of woman
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing on Saturday said it had arrested a man in Karachi found involved in harassing and blackmailing woman.
According to FIA Additional Director Cyber Crime Wing Imran Riaz, accused Rehman had been blackmailing and harassing the woman for a long time. The accused tortured the woman and also spread her vulgar pictures.
In her complain, the woman told the FIA that she was being harassed through social media apps. Following to the complaint, the FIA took action and arrested a suspect.
The FIA additional director also said that vulgar material related to digital devices was recovered from the possession of the accused.
The FIA Cyber Crime also registered a case against the accused.
